The forest is a major asset that helps preserve nature's biodiversity, provides us with energy, and purifies the air. It’s no wonder forests are often called the lungs of the world. As we consume its valuable resources, it’s also important to restore and protect them for future generations.
Bloomcabin supports the production of smart and sustainable wooden windows and doors. We choose wood from responsibly managed forests and reliable suppliers. This is confirmed by the FSC certification (Chain of custody certification, FSC®-C109515). Learn more about our wooden conservatories and products.
To reduce the environmental impact of production processes and harmful emissions from transportation, we carefully evaluate delivery methods and distances for all raw materials and finished products, optimizing them as much as possible. Production waste, such as chips and bark, is also collected and used efficiently, for example, to heat company buildings. For more details on our delivery practices, check our Terms of Purchase & Delivery.
Another positive aspect is that wooden windows and doors are an environmentally friendly choice due to their renewable materials, and if they cannot be restored, they can be disposed of in an eco-friendly way at the end of their life cycle.
In line with the ISO 5000: 2015 standard, Bloomcabin ensures a reduction in energy consumption, such as fully switching to LED lighting in all production stages and throughout the company. We continuously seek energy-efficient solutions by evaluating the impact of every production and administration process. Along with reducing environmental effects, this also lowers production costs and allows us to offer our products at better prices.
